Each year, over the last four decades, the Lincoln Arts Council presents the Mayor’s Arts Awards to honor artists, arts organizations and arts programming in our community. This year’s celebration will be held Friday, October 28th at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts.

Mayor Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln Arts Council will pay tribute to the winners who will each receive an original art piece by local artist Marc Kornbluh.
It’s easy to make individual reservations or to purchase a table. If you choose to purchase a table but are unable to fill all ten seats, let us help! Simply write “gift” on the lines for your guest reservations and we will complete the seating. You will make it possible for students, artists and arts organizations staff to come who otherwise would not be able to attend.
